Florida Weather

Florida is called the Sunshine State for a reason. It has over 300 days of full sunshine a year. Florida is hot and humid in summer with a good chance for a brief afternoon thunderstorm. Summers generally range from the 70s at night to the 80s during the day.

Hurricane season runs from June through the end of November but there is plenty of advance warnings.

The winter months are generally mild, but can quickly become damp and somewhat chilly as cold fronts come in from the North West.
